BirdyAdaLou In the Now

Adagirl has changed to BirdyAdaLou. I love bird-watching (animals of the wild kingdom, too). I'm always watching for footprints in the snow and mud. Bird-watching is great for me, since It keeps me Looking Up. I am reflecting at this time on looking up to the Creator of all life and of our planet and the entire universe. I've been counting my blessings, especially after having a wonderful Holiday Season--Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. I am blessed with family and friends, who are so wonderful and special to me.

During this time of year, I miss my hosband and parents very much and remember the good times, the love, the joys and sorrows, the hopes and dreams we shared. I have learned so much from them.

I watched a movie recently that reminded me that human life is full of "Brief Encounters," and that they all are special. We learn so much from each other and are mostly made better persons because of them. I am who I am because of all the dear people and experiences (good and bad) that I have experienced throughout my 58 years on this earth. Thank you, all.

I may not have much monetarily, nor in worldly goods; but, I am so rich in good memories, friends, family, and all of the beauty of the world around me. Even when I suffer pain from my physical problems, I know I am not alone. I know that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is with me, as are my family and friends. Thank you, again.

May your new year be full of blessings and lessons.

Adagirl is In the Now

Hi there! Adagirl is In the Now!

Before anything else, I'm wishing you and your loved ones Happy Holidays.

This is a special time of year and I hope you are building precious memories to treasure throughout the rest of your life. I know I am.

It is important for each of us to live in the "now" or "be present in the moment" because "now" is really all we have for certain. The past has helped make us who we are and we have learned and grown out of it. The future is oute there, but is not really certain, unless you have faith that it is (which I do). However, there is so much to see, hear, feel, and do right now, in this moment. I am thankful to the Creator of all things for this.

Again, Happy Holidays!

Later...
